Portraits: Beisiegel Family

Wednesday, April 7, 2010

I am so excited about this post.

First, the background story: I think every student should have a Mr. B. at some point in their life at school. I had a teacher by the name of Mr. B. (aka Mr. Beisiegel or Mr. Bike) – in grade six and seven. And then my sister and brother both had him too. He is one of those teachers who makes the classroom a fun and memorable place to be. The only time I recall him losing patience or getting angry is when a few of us students had staple wars…And we had to stay in at lunch and pick up the countless staples scattered ALL over the floor. Oops. But anyways. There was another, very pretty, teacher at that school by the name of Miss Brandner. Well I guess the romance that blossomed in the halls wasn’t just between the too-cool-for-school middle schoolers :) Fast forward ten years and these two, Cory & Debbie, are married with a most beautiful (seriously) family of five.

I met with them on a perfect spring morning in the park. It wasn’t long before the girls, Maddie and Eva, warmed up to the camera and me, as we bonded over bubbles and swings. Then, their sweet and silly playfulness spilled over and we were in for a good fun time, with handsome little Liam taking it all in stride. First stop was the playground, of course, and then we wandered over to a “secret garden” to get the family shots. It was difficult to narrow down just a handful of photos to share here…

Thank you Beisiegel family for a delightful Saturday morning :)

Beautiful family! Beautiful photos! Of course, I’m always partial to a family with 2 daughters and then a son! ; )
You captured their love AND their silliness. Good job!
And little Liam reminds me so much of Logan at that age! Makes me wanna go back…
    Hi to the Beisiegels!
