Abbotsford Engagement: Lauren + Gavenn

Friday, October 15, 2010

Lauren and Gavenn will always have a place in my heart. They were officially the first couple to book me for their wedding! When I first met with Lauren and Gavenn, Lauren conveyed to me that she didn’t want to hire just any photographer. I get that. After all, she’ll be sharing her day, THE day, with me. It truly is an honor to be allowed in to such a momentous and memorable thing. Lauren and I clicked. And I’ve been excited about their vineyard wedding in Kelowna next June ever since.

But especially ever since their engagement session! Lauren and Gavenn had such a chemistry between them and I felt it through my lens. The sky was threatening stormy weather but thankfully the clouds held back the rain and gave us pretty lighting instead…thank you, Lauren and Gavenn, for being so wonderful to work with! And, for your trust.

Speaking of trust, they didn’t hesitate when I suggested that they lie down in the grass for the first shots…

and this is one of my favorites…

Lauren, you are going to be one gorrrrgeous bride!

We made sure to include their dogs too, which made for some fun times…

Until next June!
