Eighteen Pastures Wedding

Friday, January 21, 2011

Friday morning I got an email from the lovely Michelle of Michelle Cervo Photography. She and I had connected over Facebook and I was instantly drawn to her bubbly personality, even over the internet. This particular message was was about a wedding. Saturday afternoon. The awful flu had hit Michelle, so she was looking for extra backup, a third shooter. And so I had the great opportunity to work alongside two talented photographers – two really great girls – and be a part of a wonderful thing: a wedding. The marriage of Nathan and Nicole.

Following the ceremony in Mission,
we went to Eighteen Pastures where the reception was to take place…

Such cute wedding favours – jars of hot chocolate topped with mini marshmallows.

Even without ever having met any of these beautiful people, there were so fun to work with!

LOVE the kilts!

A truly glowing bride…

Congratulations, Nathan and Nicole :)
And Michelle, I hope you’re fully recovered by now! Here’s to working together again someday…

I love the kilts too, and the lace-up shoes. Of course, you had me with the red barn!
You did a beautiful job, stepping in at the last minute. No one would ever know it!
    A very cute couple!

What a beautiful place for a reception! I love the little details, like the plaid fabric wrapped around the flowers, and the hot chocolate mix! The kilts are pretty sweet too.
